Scott Derrickson’s latest effort – a sci-fi, horror, action, conspiracy thriller, love story – is some weird ass shit. And we mean that in the best possible way. In this Goggler exclusive, we speak to Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller, the stars of Apple TV Plus’ The Gorge, about working on a genre film, shooting that dialogue light first act, and the art they would take with them to a “desert island.”
The Gorge premieres on Apple TV Plus on Friday, February 14.
Two highly-trained operatives are appointed to posts in guard towers on opposite sides of a vast and highly classified gorge, protecting the world from an undisclosed, mysterious evil that lurks within. They bond from a distance while trying to stay vigilant in defending against an unseen enemy. When the cataclysmic threat to humanity is revealed to them, they must work together in a test of both their physical and mental strength to keep the secret in the gorge before it’s too late.
The Gorge was directed by Scott Derrickson and written by Zach Dean. The movie stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Miles Teller, and Sigourney Weaver.
