The Goggler Podcast #136: Blacklight

Dept. of Jibbers, Jabbers, and Yackety-Yaks

On today’s episode of The Goggler Podcast, Bahir and Uma watch and review yet another Liam Neeson action thriller: Blacklight. The latest in the long line of what should be direct-to-hotel-pay-per-view Neeson movies once again finds our favourite geriatric action hero using his very particular set of skills to right some wrongs. We’re not sure if you’ll ever watch Blacklight, but we thought you might still appreciate hearing just how middling and mediocre it actually is. Why does Liam Neeson keep making these movies? Why do we keep watching them? What is the point of all of this? Who knows? Who even still cares?

Travis Block, a shadowy government agent who specializes in removing operatives whose covers have been exposed, uncovers a deadly conspiracy within his own ranks that reaches the highest echelons of power.

Blacklight was directed by Mark Williams and stars Liam Neeson, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Taylor John Smith, and Aidan Quinn.
