Dept. of Jibbers, Jabbers, and Yackety-Yaks

On today’s episode of The Goggler Podcast, Uma and Bahir, along with special guest Nick Dorian, recommend some great Japanese movies that you can watch during the JAPANESE FILM FESTIVAL ONLINE 2022 – among them: Rashomon, The God of Ramen, Mio’s Cookbook, Ito, The Chef of South Polar, Under the Open Sky, and It’s a Summer Film! They’re all different. They’re all uniquely Japanese. They’re all pretty damn good.

The Japan Foundation’s JAPANESE FILM FESTIVAL ONLINE 2022 will screen 20 Japanese films, across every genre, from dramas to thrillers, comedies, documentaries and animation. All of it is free. And you can even watch it with Malay subtitles!

JFF ONLINE 2022 runs for two weeks from the 14th until the 28th of February, and all you have do to watch these movies is register at the official festival page by clicking this link and following their registration instructions. For more information, check out our explainer article here.
