Sony’s Uncharted, which is based on the incredibly popular video game franchise, is a movie 14 years in the making. Having survived a problematic development cycle, and having gone through six directors, including David O. Russell, Neil Burger, Seth Gordon, Shawn Levy, Dan Trachtenberg and Travis Knight, before finally landing on Ruben Fleischer, the movie can best be described as a somewhat competent adaptation.
