Apple TV Plus’ Sunny, based on the novel “The Dark Manual” by award-winning Japan-based Irish writer Colin O’Sullivan, is a bold, darkly comic, and wholly original look at a future in which robots and AI are completely integrated into every aspect of our lives. In this Goggler exclusive, we spoke to legendary Japanese actors Jun Kunimura and Judy Ongg about their relationship with technology and why they decided to do the series.
Sunny is now streaming on Apple TV Plus.
In Sunny, Suzie, an American woman living in Kyoto, Japan, has her life upended when her husband and son disappear in a mysterious plane crash.
