The first season of Apple TV Plus’ Schmigadoon! was an all singing, all dancing delight. The series introduced us to Josh and Melissa, a couple with a troubled relationship, who inadvertently stumble onto the magical (and maybe slightly ridiculous) town of Schmigadoon and find true love. Now, Josh and Melissa are back and trying to rekindle that love, except instead of finding the town of Schmigadoon, they’ve somehow stumbled in to the darker, sexier, Schmicago. In this Goggler exclusive, we sat down with Jane Krakowski to talk about toeing that line between parody and celebration, and what the second season’s meta commentary means for the series.
