Moon Knight, Marvel Studios’ six episode series about the vigilante vessel of the Egyptian god Konshu, wraps up its limited run next week. The series, with its horror elements, violence, dissociative identity disorder, and comedy, takes us to places never before seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We recently got the chance to speak to Meghan Kasperlik about the design philosophy that went into the designing of Mr. Knight and Moon Knight’s suits.

When Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life, he discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.

Moon Knight was directed by Mohamed Diab, Justin Benson, and Aaron Moorhead, and stars Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, May Calamawy, Gaspard Ulliel, and F. Murray Abraham.

Read our spoiler free review of the series here. We also spoke to cinematographer Gregory Middleton, as well as Moon Knight executive producer Grant Curtis.
