Indy is back for his final adventure! When we catch up with him, he’s tired and alone, he’s retired from his day job, and all but lost his passion for life. That is until his goddaughter shows up with a mystery from his past that has long gone unresolved. In this Goggler exclusive, we sat down with Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny director James Mangold to talk about taking over a beloved franchise, aliens, and the sunsetting of our beloved heroes.

It’s 1969, and Indiana Jones is ready to call it quits. Having spent more than a decade teaching at New York’s Hunter College, the esteemed professor of archaeology is preparing to retire to his modest apartment where, these days, he lives alone. Things change after a surprise visit from his estranged goddaughter Helena Shaw who is seeking a rare artifact that her father entrusted to Indy years earlier — the infamous Archimedes Dial, a device that purportedly holds the power to locate fissures in time.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny was directed by James Mangold and stars Harrison Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, Karen Allen, John Rhys-Davies, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Olivier Richters, Ethann Isidore, and Mads Mikkelsen.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will be in Malaysian cinemas on Thursday, June 29.
