It’s all about the struggle to gain power and then hold on to it in this riveting new series that’s set 10,148 years before Paul Atreides was born. Loosely based on the 2012 novel Sisterhood of Dune, by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, Dune: Prophecy has all of the franchise trappings that you’re familiar with: political maneuvering among the universe’s ruling houses, backstabbing and surprise deaths, conniving villains, spice, and sandworms. In this Goggler exclusive, we spoke with Alison Schapker about who the series is for, having the series set so far before the movies, and adapting Sisterhood of Dune for a new audience.
Dune: Prophecy is now streaming on HBO and Max.
