Boston Strangler: We Speak to Alessandro Nivola

Dept. of Chats and Confabs

During the early 1960s, 13 women were killed by one of America’s most notorious serial killers. Boston Strangler tells the story of Loretta McLaughlin and Jean Cole, two reporters that challenged the sexism of the era, pursuing the story at great personal risk, and uncovering the systemic corruption that cast doubt on the identity of the strangler.

In this Goggler Exclusive, we spoke to Alessandro Nivola going down a Boston Strangler rabbit hole and how he goes about preparing for a role.

Be sure to check out our interview with Chris Cooper here.

We also got the chance to speak to director Matt Ruskin. You can watch that interview here.
