Dive into the wild with Dolphins Up Close with Bertie Gregory! Join National Geographic Explorer Bertie Gregory in the Azores as he captures one of the ocean’s most breathtaking spectacles – dolphins, whales, and seabirds working together in a feeding frenzy. In this Goggler exclusive, we had a long chat with Bertie Gregory about the idea of dolphins as hunters, bait balls, the history of whaling, and the somewhat different pace of this special.

Dolphins Up Close with Bertie Gregory is now streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar.

Dolphins Up Close with Bertie Gregory is a 45-minute Nat Geo special that follows wildlife filmmaker and National Geographic Explorer Bertie Gregory as he travels to the Azores to film one of the ocean’s most spectacular feeding events — thousands of predators working together to hunt dense bait-balls — and to explore how the islands’ history and protections have shaped the marine life there. The special is produced for National Geographic and continues Bertie’s ongoing collaboration with Wildstar Films — the UK production house behind Animals Up Close with Bertie Gregory.
