Based on the graphic novel by Sara Varon, Robot Dreams is the story of Manhattan-dwelling Dog, who is, well, a dog. Feeling the pang of loneliness, he sends away for a kit to build his very own robot pal. The mechanized result sparks a fast friendship, the pair spending time together during a fun New York summer in the 1980s. But one summer night, Robot’s power runs down on a beach and Dog is forced to abandon him. Will the two best mates meet again? The movie was written and directed by Pablo Berger.
