The Iran Cultural Centre in Kuala Lumpur is thrilled to announce the return of the Iranian Film Festival to Malaysia, taking place from February 29th to March 10th. This exciting cultural event will showcase six acclaimed Iranian films, offering Malaysian audiences a glimpse into the diverse and vibrant world of Iranian cinema.
The six featured movies are:
Henas, a biographical drama based on the true story of a woman who challenges her husband’s involvement in Iran’s nuclear program.
The Painting Pool, a moving portrayal of a family navigating the challenges of mental illness.
Track 143, a powerful and emotional war drama exploring themes of sacrifice and resilience.
Bodyguard, a thrilling action film about a bodyguard tasked with protecting a high-ranking political figure.
No Prior Appointment” a poignant drama about a woman returning to Iran after 30 years to confront her past.
Today, an award-winning film following a taxi driver who helps a pregnant woman and faces unexpected encounters at the hospital.
