Moon Knight, Marvel Studios’ upcoming six episode series about the vigilante vessel of the Egyptian god Konshu hits our screens on Wednesday, March 30. The series, with it’s horror elements, violence, dissociative identity disorder, and comedy, takes us to places never before seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
We recently got the chance to speak to Moon Knight executive producer Grant Curtis about the latest addition to the MCU and how they decided to deal with introducing a fairly obscure character to a new audience.
When Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life, he discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.
Moon Knight was directed by Mohamed Diab, Justin Benson, and Aaron Moorhead, and stars Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, May Calamawy, Gaspard Ulliel, and F. Murray Abraham.
